"Slaughter or bust"

Films: Prowl (2010)

Alias: Various, notably Veronica and Amber

Type: Unknown, possibly Mystical

Location: Haunted Home

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Neutral (Most of them), Evil (Veronica)

Summary: Every good hunter starts somewhere. No creature is born capable and ferocious. That's what some good old practice runs are for. And it would just so happen that a slaughterhouse makes for good training grounds for these beings.

History: It is not known if these humanoids are some kind of werewolf or vampire, but what we do know is that, somewhere in the upper-western USA, these beasts congregate at an abandoned slaughterhouse to serve a patriarch named Veronica. There, they kidnap junkies and other stragglers to be used as practice hunting material. To the humanoids, Veronica is their mother, and they accept her lessons with hungry gratitude.

Notable Kills: Use a person as bait, then drop him off a tall structure anyway.

Final Fate: It is revealed that one of the kidnapped ones, Amber, is one of the humanoids herself. Veronica welcomes her with open arms, but the thought of killing her best friends causes Amber to blow the whole place up in retaliation. Now, she's the only one of these savages out there, but she's holding onto her humanity for her friend's sake.

Powers/Abilities: Enhanced speed, agility, and strength.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-Imagine a pack of wolves, except they can jump all over the place, they're actually humans with razor-sharp teeth, and they'll kill you just to hone their skills. That's these creeps for you. For what it's worth though, just being one of them doesn't constitute an evil demeanor.

Trivia: This film was one of 2010's "After Dark Films". Also known as "8 Films to Die For", these are often collection of independent horror films carefully picked out. Whether that means they are good or bad is oftentimes dubious.

-There isn't really much else we can say here. Except that Amber's actress got to play a role in the video game, "Quantum Break", we guess? Anyone remember "Quantum Break"? It's okay, we don't either.
